The Green Room is the only major alternative music night out in Chesterfield. It covers many genres of music from Jazz, House, Trance, Indie, Rock and Metal.

The venue itself is open to live acts with many bands performing throughout the month and a usual visit from the dance team, the DeTune crew.

You can usually have a good night in here. The main thing that lets it down is the mixture of genres in any one night. Like ingite you're likely to find a lot of music you won't like dancing too. Also it's hard to know what's going on and when at the Green Room unless you visit it regularly.

A good night out for the alt lovers.
